Michael Otten is co-founder of “Reform Elections Now” and “The Green Chimneys Institute” in Brewster, NY, adjunct professor of international business management at EFREI (http://www.efrei.fr/en/) and mentor at INSEAD (https://www.insead.edu/) in France and Singapore. He was president of the Scarsdale Schools (Public $140 Million budget) and Green Chimneys School (Special Education $40 Million, 250 students) and Children’s Services (Nature Based Therapy, 300 animals) Boards. His 30+ years with IBM included managing technology development and business planning for Europe, Asia/Pacific and Latin America. As CIO, IBM Latin America, he led a $38 million international systems development initiative. He co-authored and guest taught a Technology of Management class, based on a European case study, at Harvard Business School in 2005. He was on the Harvard NY Community Partners Board and led a Civic Engagement consulting effort for the President of Kingsborough College CUNY. He served on a Distinguished Alumni International Economics Panel at Princeton. He judged entrepreneurship competitions at ASHOKA/NYU and INSEAD. He has technical degrees from Princeton (BSEE), Columbia (MS) and American Universities (PhD), and a Harvard MBA. He is currently spearheading an Electoral Reform movement in the USA, cf.
