In celebration of AAPI Heritage Month and the recent anti-Asian sentiment affecting our community, Martial Arts Education Society (MAES), a non-profit and volunteer organization, will be hosting a self-defense webinar on Wednesday, May 26 at 7:30 pm EST.
Mr. William Kwok, Co-chair of NYC chapter and Headmaster of Gotham Martial Arts, will be presenting with guest speakers Mr. Chuck Scholl, retired NYPD Deputy Chief, and Mr. Taso Pardalis, Partner at Pardalis & Nohavicka, LLP, in this webinar. Topics will include practical self-defense concepts, techniques, and drills and a panel discussion on a variety of relevant topics surrounding anti-Asian discrimination. This event is open to all regardless of cultural background and martial arts experience.
